Here's my first book trailer.
Nine million things have conspired to make me cranky today. I don't mind my cranky in small, intense doses but prolong it and I am not fit to go out in public. I am, apparently, perfectly fit to go typing on a blog.
I'm also capable of signing off so I can go to Facebook and put up a video of manta rays.

I like it! Also the manta rays, which I saw first. But I like this better. :)
Re: crankiness: You and I are living in parallel universes today.
But this animation is wonderful! The music is perfect, too--how do you find it? Allison must be flying around her back yard in a state of euphoria.
Syd: Thanks! (And I'm just doing little video sketches as quickly as I can. Calling it continuing education. :) The manta rays are part of my light/night little series. It's really hard to capture stuff at night. I think it all has to go through radical color and channel correction. But I guess you didn't want to know that, did you? Haha!
Linda: It's a new day. Maybe we'll BOTH do better. It's not the best strategy, but if I just stay away from stupid people, I've got a shot. :\ What about you?
And thanks, re: the animation. And Allison DOES seem to like it loads (that's good, because it was surprisingly hard to find a point of view on a 'collection').
I'm telling you, Linda, finding music is SO hard. Well, hard's not exactly the right word. Time consuming. Did I show you the animation from Brian's sketchbook? (I think I did. It was the playing chopsticks one?) I couldn't find a slightly out of tune/slighty drunken version, so I had to play it myself. Of course, I didn't have to get drunk. I just had to play. :)
Shooting at night is so much fun little things obscured by light come out and cast shadows in the darkness, like little hidden stories.
Use a tripod.
A little bit of cranky is good, but cranky is only good in small doses.
I love how 3-D the animation is. I love layers.
I thought the whole reason for blogs were to express our feelings - whether those feelings were cranky or happy. Let it out and let it go.
Anonymous: Oh, yes! You make sound so ... so ... well, how you make it sound. A tripod does nothing to eliminate the graininess in video. HOWEVER. I have just found a plugin to do that FOR me so there's a new future.
Mom: Yep. I agree, no matter HOW tempting it is to make it a permanent condition. I just can't stand thinking what you give up while you're being cranky.
Churlita: Oh yay! I'm JUST starting to get the hang of the depth you can create using 3D layers. It takes all sorts of little manipulation, but you can make genuinely cool little things with it.
That's a pretty good point, your point about blogs. Good news is, crankiness is gone/dissolved. I'll try that out NEXT time, though. :)
