I wanted to work on revealing brush strokes I'd drawn, so I had to draw an elephant to wear the decorations and the elephant needed to be on an antique book and the book needed pages and the pages needed a story so the book could open.
This is what I ended up with.
And you'd be surprised at how not so easy it was to get those graphics to work.

I wish this was on Facebook so I can simple click "like". I also wish I had this hanging on my wall. Between Ganesh's brought back from Nepal and Heffalumps brought back from Thailand, I am Elephant brick-a-brack heavy and yours would be a nice addition to the collection.
It IS on Facebook. Facebook brings out the self-editor in me so it's mostly just easier to put up little trinkety thingies. This is one of them.
Btw, I was going to ask if you wanted to be friends with me. I personally don't offer any advantages but the few friends I have on Facebook are golden.
PS. We like heffalumps. Elephants, not as much. :)
Love the accidental book trailer and the elephant/heffalump?
Churlita: If you WERE a heffalump lover, I'd have guessed this would be your kind. :)
Cris, this is magical! You've inspired me to work on an elephant cookie. See all the trouble you create? Love this. Love it.
Oh, Mari! Doesn't an elephant cookie sound delicious? Funny, but I taste chocolate. I wouldn't be surprised by a lemon elephant, either. An elephant, I guess, can come in all kinds of flavors.
That's so much fun.
